Corsendonk Pater (330ml Bottle)
Description
Has a very distinctive bouquet: yeasty, fruity and slightly smoky. In palate, it has notes of port, raisins and black chocolate.
Tasting Notes
Plumes and sugar on the nose. Pours heavenly brown with a nice white head. This beer as a fantastic mouth feel medium body that is so crisp and smooth I thought I was drinking silk. Flavor was brown Utopia in a bottle. Chocolate. plum raisin and sugar made this brew an incredible experience.
Abbey Dubbel
These are dark, malty, yeasty strong ales in the Trappist tradition, but produced (mainly) by secular brewers. Dubbels range between 6.5-8% abv, and have a dark brown, cloudy colour, and a palate mixing malt, a lush fruitiness, and yeast. They are typically bottle-conditioned.
