Gordon Finest Red (500ml Can)

Gordon Finest Red 500ml Can

Description

A strong beer that recalls the colours of the Highlands amid three million year old rocks? A noble and strong beer (8. 4% alc. vol) brewed with the finest ingredients. Discover a touch of caramel within its truly refined flavour. Gordon Red Strong is dark amber-coloured with a purple glint.

Tasting Notes

It pours an amber beer with a nice tanned head. The nose is of peaches, caramel, coconut, apples and bubblegum. A hint of cinnamon. The flavor is of malt, caramel and coconut. Alcoholic. Some fennel and cherry showing up. Caramel in the finish. Nicely peppery. A hint of cinnamon appearing. A good beer.

Strong Pale Lager/Imperial Pils

Most commonly found in Poland, but also in other European countries as well, especially the East. These are essentially stronger versions of pilsners, though the increased malt and alcohol will noticeable reduce the hop accent. Because these are usually all-malt, and comfortably hopped, they are easily distinguishable from malt liquors. Without the malt character of bocks, these are worthy of a style all their own.
