Unibroue Blanche de Chambly (355ml Bottle)
(White of Chambly) was the first bottlerefermented ale produced by Unibroue. It isbrewed from a blend of pale barley malt, wheat malt and unmalted wheat, to whichwe blend selected spices and hops. Blanche de Chambly is only partially filtered, retaining its natural cloud of yeast that ischaracteristic of the original white alesbrewed during the Middle Ages.
A bottle-conditioned wheat beer. Tastes of wheat with subtle spices and citrus flavourings. Has a lightly fruity aroma and a cloudy appearance due to the fresh yeast in the bottle. Great with poultry, fish/shellfish, salads and fresh vegetables.
Belgian White & Witbier
Belgian style wheat beers are very pale, opaque, with the crisp character of wheat, plus the citric refreshment of orange peel and coriander. Ingredients sometimes also include oats for smoothness, and other spices such as grains of paradise. Serve with light cheeses or mussels.
