Isekadoya Genmai (brown rice) Ale (500ml Bottle)
This beer is based on Ise Kadoya"s award-winnning Pale Ale recipe, taken to another level by adding "arare" roasted brown rice to create a truly innovative and thoroughly Japanse-style beer. The resulting "genmai" flavoured ale gives a refreshingly crisp hoppy flavour and a bitter finish. This recipe even made some Japanese microbrewers stand up and take notice, a true rarity in Japan.
Beer made with a speciality grain, most typically rye, but also common are rice, sorghum, millet, corn, buckwheat, oats and spelt. As this is a catch-all category, alcohol levels, bitterness, and color vary.
