Description
An amber coloured 'special? with lots of hops and alcohol. This is a beer for beerlovers. Like Zatte a regular customer in cafes.
Tasting Notes
Poured cloudy orange/brown with a small white head. Aroma of spice, citrus, light malt. Taste is really refreshing with plenty of spice, tart fruit, yeast, and bitterness. Mouth is pretty carbonated and refreshing. Overall, a nice complex ale.
Belgian Strong Ale
Belgian Strong Ales can vary from pale to dark brown in color, darker ales may be colored with dark candy sugar. Hop flavor can range from low to high, while hop aroma is low. The beers are medium to full-bodied and have a high alcoholic character. Types of beers included here include tripels, dubbels and ultra-strong abbey ales.
