Moinette Brune (330ml Bottle)

Description
This sturdy ale has an herbal bouquet that indicates its well hopped character. But unlike its drier cousin, its body is fuller and rounder with a slightly sweet finish. Delicious before a meal and with foods like marinated meats and barbecue.
Tasting Notes
Pours a cloudy copper golden with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly leaving behind decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet malt with caramel and fruit. Medium mouth feel and a bit watery on the palate. The taste is a floral hops and yeast with a dry finish. Hides the alcohol well making it easy to drink, a very good abbey dubbel from Dupont.
Abbey Dubbel
These are dark, malty, yeasty strong ales in the Trappist tradition, but produced (mainly) by secular brewers. Dubbels range between 6.5-8% abv, and have a dark brown, cloudy colour, and a palate mixing malt, a lush fruitiness, and yeast. They are typically bottle-conditioned.
