St. Bernardus Prior 8 (750ml Bottle)

Description
A traditional abbey ale brewed in the classic "Dubbel" style of Belgium's Trappist Monks. It has a ruby to purple colour, smooth, creamy richness of texture that is almost oily, and a malt-fruit complexity reminiscent of coconut.
Tasting Notes
Nice but unstable white head, dark orange/brown colour. Smell: dried plums, raisins, fruity and alcohol. Taste: easy to drink and very well balanced, raisins, dried plums, alcohol, yeasty, a bit bitter, sweet, warm feeling. A very good strong ale!
