Amsterdam Testify (Nelson Sauvin)

Description

Testify is a 5.5% North American Pale Ale brewed with a single hop variety, a different one every time we brew it. While the first batch of Testify used Mosaic hops, this time around we have decided to use Nelson Sauvin. Before you enjoy your first glass of Testify, you’ll instantly smell rich white Concord grape and pineapple with a slight herbaceous note. When you dive right in and take your first sip, you’ll get rich and ripe mango along with fresh pineapple flavours before the beer gives way to a dry bitterness and slight grapefruit finish. Testify is fruity, thirst quenching, slightly bitter in the finish and oh so sessionable, but what makes this beer truly unique is the way it was brought to life: fermentation using 100% wild Brettanomyces yeast.

American Pale Ales are light in color, ranging from golden to a light copper color. The style of this beer is defined by the American hops used. American hops typically have high bitterness and aroma.This is a perfect beer for big fare like grilled burgers or combination pizzas, as well as lighter fare like sushi and green salads.
