Big Rock Cherazz
[NOTE: Bottled version at 4.1% abv, first released in 2013 as part of the Alchemist Edition Series.] That first golden sip of cold beer on a hot sultry day is one of the purest moments of summer. To craft that moment in to the most refreshing, perfect punch, Brewmaster Paul Gautreau set his sights on Belgium’s centuries-old tradition of fine fruit beers. Starting with imported Belgian yeast and at carefully-timed points throughout the fermentation process, Paul blended dark sweet cherries, lively tart cherries and succulent raspberries, creating a superb brew with a delicate mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
