Berg Hefe-Weizen (500ml Bottle)
Bottle or barrel fermentation. Just like in our grandfathers’ days the after-fermentation and maturing of Hefeweizen takes place in a bottle. We also apply this classic procedure to barreled Hefeweizen. As one of only a few breweries we can speak of "genuine barrel fermentation". Unfiltered, with natural yeast and proteins, it is directly transferred from the fermentation tank to barrels and bottles.
Depending on the style can range from pale and light body to dark brown with full body. Wheat beer is characterized by its cloudy appearance and its banana and sometimes vanilla aftertaste.
