Epic Hysteria IPA (500ml Bottle)

Epic Hysteria IPA 500ml Bottle

Description

The third release in the IPA Hysteria series follows on from Gods of War, and Rocket. The perfect name as its release is timed with the 10th Annual West Coast IPA Challenge held in Wellington. Where it won the peoples choice award and came 2nd in the judging. This recipe differs from Armageddon with a little change to the malt, with the use of some US grown Pale Ale malt. Also some tweaks to the hops, this time including some NZ grown hops. The NZ grown hops have had a noticeable influence on the aroma and flavour, giving it a real NZ IPA feel. Sub tropical fruit notes with hints of green mango and passionfruit.

India Pale Ale & IPA

India Pale Ale gets its name and unique style from British brewers who were making beer for export to India. This style has an intense hop flavor which was used to preserve the beer for the long voyage. India Pale Ale has a golden to copper color with a medium maltiness and body. The aroma is moderate to very strong. IPAs work especially well at cutting the heat of chili, vindaloo or Sichuan cuisine.
