The Twisted Hop Enigma 2013 (330ml Bottle)

Description
Deep copper in colour and a soft floral aroma with hints of cherries. Its sweet maltiness is balanced by the flavours of stone fruits and a robust hop bitterness. A period of maturation in American Oak contributes hints of vanilla and a tannic dryness. Flavours of dried fruits develop and Epiphany finishes long, dry and bitter. A great accompanyment to strong blue cheese.
Tasting Notes
A murky orange-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit, slightly over ripe - especially oranges and peaches. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit - again slightly on the over ripe side, as well as medium notes of alcohol tickling the tongue.
Barley Wine
A Barley Wine is a strong, top-fermenting ale, with an alcohol contents of at least 9% and up to 13% (or more) by volume. Hops may be hardly noticeable at all or very noticeable. Sip them out of the special glass, that will concentrate the aroma. They are excellent with cigars or with dessert.
