Craftwork Grisette (500ml Bottle)
Grisette is a type of Belgian farmhouse ale, related to the Saison style. Native to the French speaking Hainaut region in Wallonia. Grisette was served to miners, often by young maids dressed in grey smocks - the supposed origin of the name.
The grain bill often combines organic Pilsner barley malt, raw wheat and oats. Moderate hopping with a New Zealand noble variety allows the yeast to meld the grain and hops into a perfect refresher. After a hard day in the mine or the office. Enjoy Grisette!
Fruity esters dominate the aroma. Clarity is good with a large foamy head on top. The addition of several spices and herbs create a complex fruity or citrusy flavor. Light to medium bodied with very high carbonation. Alcohol level is medium to high.
