Baltika 6 Nopmep (Porter) (470ml Bottle)
A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"'s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
Aroma is pretty decent raosted malt overtone, plumes, big on the roast, and a little bit bready. Appearance is a coca-cola dark brown almost black color with a thick tan head that lingers around for a while. Taste has got a nice roasted malt flavor, at first some off oxidization, then melds into a pretty decent aftertaste with the roasted malts coming to the forefront. Overall, Nice baltic porter and definately a good value
The historical remnants of the 19th c. Baltic trade in imperial stouts, Baltic Porters are typically strong, sweet and bottom-fermented. They lack the powerful roast of an imperial stout, but have an intense malt character. Alcohol ranges from 7-9.5% abv. Though they are typically lagers, there are a handful of top-fermented examples.
