Rock Bottom Minneapolis Mates Fellowship Brown Porter
Based on late 18th Century English recipes, this brown porter is a great session beer to be enjoyed with friends and lively conversation. Named for the “fellowship porters” that transported the grains and malts at the docks, it salutes those men whose toil allowed the breweries to keep England in beer. A toast to the Fellowship Porters, thanks Mate!
Black or chocolate malt gives the porter its dark brown color. Porters are well hopped and heavily malted. This is a medium-bodied beer. Porters can be sweet. Hoppiness can range from bitter to mild. Porters are often confused with stouts.
