Pricing and Availability
Orders placed and credit approved by 1pm, Monday - Friday for items in Stock will ship the same day as ordered (see shipping methods). Orders placed and credit approved anytime Saturday or Sunday for items in Stock will ship on the following Monday. These cutoff times are a guideline, and are subject to possible change or modification due to prevailing circumstances. This information does not constitute a guarantee.
All orders require a signature upon delivery, and must be signed for by someone over the age of 18.
Please address your order to an address where this can happen between the hours of 9am to 5pm (i.e Your Work address)
Free Delivery Promotion.
Free freight is for full boxes 24 Bottles (or multiples of 24) bottles. Rural addresses will incur a Rural delivery Fee, as will any other Island (Waiheke Island etc). Promotion is for a limited Time, and some items are excluded.
We ship exclusively via PBT. Freight charges for your order are automatically calculated as you add items to your shopping cart. Some items may take longer to reach you if you live in a rural area. We will email you tracking information for your order when it is despatched from us.
North Island Orders
North Island Orders that are not Rural Delivery are shipped overnight. Deliveries will usually arrive the day after your order has shipped. Rural orders will take an additional couple of days.
South Island Orders
South Island Orders are shipped via 48Hr Courier. Deliveries will take two - three working days.
All orders shipped are insured at no additional charge.
We accept orders from outside of New Zealand for delivery to New Zealand addresses.
Orders shipping to addresses outside New Zealand purchased from www.beercellar.co.nz will NOT be shipped.
Credit & Debit cards
The Beer Cellar accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. We do not charge your card for an item until it is shipped. All orders are subject to credit verification and approval. For your protection, credit card orders shipped to an address other than your billing address may require additional verification.
Note: The Name that will appear on your credit card statement will be 'The Beer Cellar'.
Orders may also be paid for by Gift Voucher. Once you have added product to your shopping cart, Click on the 'Redeem Voucher' button, prior to completing the check out process.
Other payment methods
We do not accept payment via any other method.
Prices, promotions and product availability are subject to change without notice. NOTE: Products and packaging depicted may differ from stock available at time of shipment; we reserve the right to substitute equivalent items.
We are committed to keeping our product and services range new, inspiring and innovative. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our products or services then please email us outlining clearly the nature of your complaint or dissatisfaction. Any complaints will be handled quickly and efficiently and all information exchanged will be confidential. We guarantee to respond to complaints within five working days and to keep the customer informed about progress of any complaint at regular intervals.
We pride ourselves on our personal levels of service. If you are not delighted with your purchase then please return the items to us within 14 days of receipt in its original condition and packaging and we will refund you the value less the delivery costs. Please note that the postage and cost of returns is the responsibility of the customer or purchaser. Please email us prior to sending any back so we can issue a returns number.
All Returns must be sent back via Trackable Courier Only.
Unfortunately breakages occasionally happen in transit, in this instance please let us know immediately and we will refund in full your broken items. Refunds will be in the form of a gift voucher to the value of the broken product, and a proportion of the freight costs.

Any sales of alcohol made via this internet site will be made on that liquor license. The applicable law for transactions for the purchase of alcohol on this internet site are the laws of New Zealand. The Laws of Sale and contract by any other country do not apply. By placing an order with www.beercellar.co.nz you accept that the ownership of the goods passes to the customer upon payment and dispatch of the goods from our warehouse.
